What to include in an ESU repair request

Send the generator model, serial number, exact error or self-test message, and the affected output or accessory port. Identify the footswitch, handpiece, cable or return-electrode accessory involved, including its part number when available. For intermittent faults, describe when the problem appears and any recent service.

ESU preventive maintenance and performance checks

For scheduled PM, include the number of generators and their installed configurations. The service plan can address output-performance verification, return-electrode monitoring, activation controls and alarms where supported by the model documentation and available test equipment. Electrical-safety checks and electrosurgical output checks address different aspects of the device; the agreed scope should identify each.
