Understand equipment condition before your next decision
For incoming or existing equipment, request a documented condition review that identifies the manufacturer, model, asset information, observed physical condition, reported issues and recommended next steps. Technical inspection is scoped separately from preventive maintenance, repair and any certification or acceptance testing that the facility requires.
Apex Biomedical Technology supports Houston healthcare facilities with incoming equipment inspections, condition reviews and documented findings for supported clinical devices. A technical inspection request can help organize questions about equipment you have received or an existing device that needs a condition review.

For a medical equipment performance testing request, describe the functions or measurements you need reviewed, the reason for testing and any required documentation. Share existing test records or acceptance criteria when available. Apex confirms the available model-specific scope before work is scheduled. For electrical-safety requirements, see medical equipment electrical safety testing.
Provide the manufacturer, model, serial or asset number, quantity and facility location. Describe why the inspection is needed and include any known damage, missing accessories, service history or documentation requirements. Photos of the equipment and identification labels can help clarify the request; exclude patient information.
If equipment has a reported fault, consider a repair assessment. For routine scheduled checks, see preventive maintenance. Equipment acquisition questions can be directed to sales and sourcing.
Technical inspection questions
Can you review newly received equipment?
Incoming inspection is part of the service scope. Send the model, configuration and reason for the review so Apex can confirm the appropriate scope.
Does an inspection request include repair?
Inspection and repair are different requests. Identify any repair needs when contacting Apex so assessment, follow-up work and requested documentation can be discussed clearly.
