Know which assets need PM follow-up
For Houston, Katy and Sugar Land facilities, a PM-status review helps turn equipment records into an organized follow-up list. Start with your asset list, available completion records and the maintenance schedule your facility uses.
Documented due date
Connect the recorded PM date and next due date to the correct device and location, then identify upcoming work against the schedule provided.
Past the recorded due date
Flag devices with a past due date and no matching completion record for review. Confirm whether work remains outstanding or a record needs updating.
Missing or unclear records
Keep unknown dates, unmatched service reports and conflicting asset details separate so they can be checked before a final status is assigned.
What to prepare
- Your asset identifiers, manufacturer, model and location.
- Last documented PM, recorded next due date and available service reports.
- Your current schedule, record format or CMMS, and preferred review date.
- Known equipment faults and any access or scheduling constraints.
Agree the follow-up list you need
A scoped review can organize each asset’s recorded PM status, missing information and next action. Confirm the fields, reporting date and handover format before work starts. Maintenance intervals are reviewed against the applicable manufacturer guidance and facility requirements; a missing date alone does not establish an interval.
Need the maintenance performed?
A records review and a maintenance visit are separate services. Use medical equipment preventive maintenance to discuss the work itself, or equipment repair for a reported fault. A records review does not perform device testing or establish readiness for clinical use.
