Autoclaves & Sterilizers — Repair & PM in Houston

Request autoclave repair, preventive maintenance or a PM contract in Houston. Send Midmark M9/M11 or Tuttnauer model details for a service quote.

Autoclave repair and preventive maintenance in Houston

Apex Biomedical Technology reviews autoclave and sterilizer repair, preventive maintenance and service-contract requests for dental offices, outpatient clinics, surgery centers and other healthcare facilities. Based in Houston, we support requests from Katy, Sugar Land, Pearland, Clear Lake and surrounding communities, with other locations reviewed individually.

Tell us the exact sterilizer model, the work needed and the number of units. We use those details to confirm equipment coverage, service scope and scheduling before work is booked.

Midmark M9, M11 and Tuttnauer service requests

For Midmark M9 or M11 sterilizers and Tuttnauer tabletop autoclaves, include the complete model, serial number and any displayed cycle message. Tuttnauer requests should identify the specific model, such as T-Edge 10 or T-Edge 11, rather than the brand alone. Other manufacturers and configurations can be submitted for review.

Identify any printer, water system or other accessory separately. Model names help us review the request and parts compatibility; they do not imply manufacturer authorization or guaranteed availability.

What to send for a service quote

  • Manufacturer, full model, serial or asset number and number of units.
  • Whether you need repair, a PM visit or an ongoing maintenance agreement.
  • For repairs: the exact message, reported symptom and when it occurs.
  • Available maintenance records and any known parts already identified.
  • Facility city, access requirements and preferred scheduling window.

Equipment-label and display photos can help clarify the request. Please exclude patient information. You can start with a short description if a complete inventory is not yet available.

Review two examples from Apex service work, with original photographs and the work performed on each unit.

Getinge sterilizer HEAT-UP alarm

A Getinge steam sterilizer displayed a HEAT-UP alarm. The documented work was replacement of the boiler pressure switch associated with the heating fault. View the Getinge boiler pressure switch replacement →

STERIS V-PRO 60 vacuum pump oil change

This maintenance example records draining and replacing the vacuum pump oil on a STERIS V-PRO 60 sterilizer. View the STERIS V-PRO 60 oil-change case →

For your equipment, include the exact model and current service need. The applicable work and quote are reviewed for that unit.

Service scope, parts and records

Before work begins, confirm the equipment included, proposed assessment or PM activities, any required parts, scheduling and the service record your facility needs. Repair labor, replacement parts and work outside a PM agreement should be addressed explicitly in the quote.

For identified components, review sterilizer parts and general biomedical accessories. For a broader equipment program, review medical equipment preventive maintenance and maintenance contracts.

Autoclave service questions

Can one request include several sterilizers?

Yes. List each model and quantity, and distinguish units with active faults from those due for planned maintenance. For several locations, identify the equipment at each facility.

Can a contract include equipment beyond sterilizers?

Send a combined inventory so Apex can review the supported equipment categories and propose a written scope. Request a multi-device PM contract.

What if I do not know which part has failed?

A part number is not required to request an assessment. Start with the model, reported behavior and displayed message so the next step can be discussed.
